Breastfeeding
The NCT actively promotes breastfeeding as best for mother and baby.
Breastfeeding counsellors are trained to help women establish and continue breastfeeding.
They provide information and emotional support to help overcome problems, enabling mother and baby to
breastfeed for as long as they wish.
Breastfeeding counselling is free of charge to members and non-members. If you wish to talk to someone or be put in contact with a breastfeeding counsellor then contact the national helpline using the number in the right hand panel.
